Welcome to "Is There Media on my Mustache?" a blog dedicated to my Media Theories and Effects class, as well as, my love of facial hair (on men, of course). 

ASSIGNMENT #1
To begin, several theories will be dicussed to give opinions as to the movement of the media and the power it holds.  These theories are as follows: uniform influences, selective influences, disinhibition theory, desensitization theory, sensitization theory, modeling theory, cultivation theory, socialization theory, uses and gratifications theory, agenda-setting theory, reinforcement theory, and schema theory.
